Who are Yolk-Marketing?

Hi, I am Faye, I run Yolk-Marketing from my lovely little office which has amazing views out over the countryside. Gone are the years of staring at a car park from my desk or out onto a brick wall or some bins. This is my first room with a view – office style!

The reason I started Yolk-Marketing, (apart from wanting a better view) was because I have always wanted to be my own boss. I work better at night and love travelling. To be honest, your run of the mill 9 to 5 jobs were just getting in my way. Every company I worked for wanted me in by 9am whereas I was much more functional at 9pm!

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a couple of great jobs, I spent over 6 years at an Advertising Agency that I adored, I knew the business inside and out and I had a great relationship with my customers but I couldn’t stay there forever. I learnt a lot and with lots of skills picked up from other roles along the way I knew it was time to start up by myself.

October 2016 – Yolk-Marketing was born!

Since October I have been working non stop on my website, my customers needs and requirements and hundreds of social media competitions for businesses all over the UK. I’ve learnt so much and have made some great friends along the way. I honestly, cannot believe that it’s been less than 6 months, but do you know what? I absolutely love it and I know it was the right decision. Telling customers how I can grow their social media following is exciting and doesn’t even feel like work. It is so rewarding when they are amazed by the results I provide.

I could tell you loaddddsss more about me, like the fact I am a chatterbox, I love spaniels but don’t own one and that my favourite colour is purple but I’ve got to call a client so I’ll fill you in more on a future blog post. I will leave you with a pic of me, so you can put a face to the endless words I type out online.

A little pic of yours truly!

If you have any questions, or want to know more about me, give me a shout, I love a chat and I love getting to know new people. There are so many ways to get in touch, email, Facebook etc etc, but sadly no fax option, does anyone still use them?
